Whole30 – Day 2

Day 2 went much better than yesterday. No trips to the ER and we stuck with the meal plan!

I was pretty surprised at how little I’ve struggled with sugar withdrawal. I have been meeting most my sugar cravings with fruit but have actually managed to keep the fruit to a minimum.

Breakfast: Bacon, Hard Boiled Eggs and Green Juice

Lunch: Turkey and Cucumber Roll Ups, Tomato, Guacamole, Apple slices and Almond Butter

Snack: I had a few almonds and pecans for an afternoon snack.

Dinner: No Noodle Spaghetti or Joe says it’s more of a Moussaka. (ground beef, tomato sauce, shredded sweet potato & zucchini.)

Evening Snack: Berry Smoothie – to fight my nightly sugar craving I had a berry smoothie.

I often eat when I’m bored or as something to do with my hands if I’m watching TV so I’ve tried to replace food with water. It gives me something to put in to my mouth when I’m not actually hungry, plus everyone should drink more water.

    Mahi en Papillote

I love fish but have a hard time figuring out how to cook it. I just recently discovered cooking “en papillote” (in paper) and this is a great way to easily cook fish. I did a bit of research and found a few recipes I decided to use to create the recipe below. The fish…
