Another item crossed off our Summer Bucket List.

I really love watching the planes land and take off at the Raleigh-Durham Airport Observation Park. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place. They have a little sand play area for the kids, a miniature runway so the kids can pretend to be airplanes and a great observation deck.

Noah and I sat in the shade while Jude played in the sand.

From the observation deck we saw several planes land and take off. They have live audio from the flight deck playing so you get the feeling of really being a part of the action.

Jude asked if he could ride a plane but I told him we had to buy a ticket and they were very expensive. He was disappointed.

There is a little cafe, Crosswinds Cafe, that I’d love to go to one day but today was not that day. Guess we’ll just have to go back.
