May has been a busy month. Mother’s Day, my birthday, Joe’s birthday, Baby 2 due any day, Joe working 6 days a week, visiting family, finishing unpacking… the list goes on. Somehow we’ve managed to fit in a few date night this month which is a few more than most months. I figure with baby 2 coming soon we needed to fit in a few nights out since we’ll be spending a lot of time at home.
Last week, thanks to my mom and Disney we were able to slip out and enjoy an evening at the movies, a rarity for us. We saw a pre-release showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. We’d seen the first 3 movies in the theater and really want to see this one but didn’t think we’d get the chance.
I was super excited because I really enjoyed the other movies and I especially love Johnny Depp. We saw the 3D version which was awkward at first, wearing those glasses, but after awhile it just seemed natural. Overall, the movie was a fun and entertaining film, which is pretty much what I expecting. I certainly liked it better than the 2nd and 3rd sequel but it still didn’t compare to the 1st. (Sometimes the 1st is always the best, which is probably why they make, 2nd’s, 3rd’s and 4th’s!)
Overall, it was a fun date night and I’m so glad we were able to get out for a last minute date night before baby 2 arrives.
Check out the trailer. It’s playing in most theaters across the US right now, so go see it!
I received the free tickets to the film. The opinions expressed in this post are my own and not influenced by the company.

We love music in our house. Jude loves to dance and sing along with pretty much anything. So I was very excited to review the Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel Movie Soundtrack. Although we haven’t seen the movie yet, it’s in our queue, Jude loved the music. We danced around the living room singing…
Since my kids aren’t participating in any camps this summer I’m trying to bring the summer camp fun to them. We are planning special activities for each day and we always try to get outdoors. This week we’re playing with some new outdoor toys from Goliath Sports: the Zoom Hydro Ball and the Crush It…

To say that Jude loves bubbles is probably an understatement. He adores them. So when we were given the opportunity to review Funrise Toys’ Gazillion Bubbles Machine I knew Jude would love it. As soon as I opened the box he knew what it was and wanted to play with it. The machine was super…

I previously wrote a review on how much we love the newest Disney Pixar film, Coco. Since writing that post I have watched the move twice and I still have such fond thoughts about this movie. Coco is probably my favorite film from 2017. Granted, I don’t see a ton of movies but out of…
