Aside from all the typical boy things like pirates, cars, tools and space ships Jude loves princesses. I totally get it princesses are awesome and fairy tales are for both boys and girls. The story usually involves some evil villain or dragon and of course a brave prince to save the day. So I wasn’t surprised by his enthusiasm for Tangled and the Tolly Tots Toddler Rapunzel Doll we received.
We’d never seen Tangled but he immediately knew she was a princess and deserved special treatment. He popped in the Blu-ray and watched the entire film completely captivated by the story of Rapunzel. I’d heard a lot of good things about the movie but didn’t really know too much other than it was the story of Rapunzel. It was a fun, music-filled movie with a wholesome story and a bit of humor for parents.
Tolly tots has created a fun line of Baby and Toddler Disney Princess Dolls, including Rapunzel. This sweet 15″ doll is the perfect playtime companion with her long, luxurious hair. She comes with a tiara, hairbrush, mirror and shoes.

At this point in his life Jude is a little sponge absorbing information all the time. It amazes me how quickly he can learn something and recite it weeks later. However, there are a few things that challenge him like learning his colors. I’m not sure why he has a hard time remembering his colors,…
For years I’ve been using a man’s velcro wallet that I bought at Wal-mart for $4. It gets the job done but isn’t much to look at. Well, today I retired the old velcro wallet and upgraded to a fancy zipper pouch from Gussy. I love this bag. It’s beautifully designed and well constructed. I…
Am I seriously writing a tutorial on How to Change a Diaper? Yes, yes I am. You see a few weeks ago I was feeding Simon in the church nursery when the baby room worker (who was apparently new) asked me how to change a diaper. I was a little shocked that she didn’t know…
My family loves Entenmann’s Little Bites so for our most recent family vacation I grabbed a few boxes of our favorite Little Bites muffins and donuts for quick and easy snacking. Entenmann’s Little Bites were a favorite beach snack for my boys. The Little Bites are packaged perfectly for the beach, each package contains about…
Jude starts preschool in less than a month so to help him get excited for this new adventure we started a Back-to-School Count Down Chart. I decided to make it a fun learning project while we were at it. I used Astrobrights 65lb cardstock to create the chart and traceable numbers. The acid-free and lignin-free…
