2B Mom: Svan Bouncer Review + Giveaway
One of the biggest frustrations I had after Jude’s birth was finding the time to take a shower. I would often try to wait until he was asleep but found myself constantly peaking my head from behind the curtain to listen for his cry. When nap-time rolled around there was always a decision to be made: nap with the baby, shower, clean, just relax and do nothing. Often times sleep would come before shower. But it’s amazing how the little things, like a hot shower, can make such a big difference to a new mom.
After struggling with how to best utilize nap-time I learned that other moms employ a bouncer seat to help them take a shower every day. I never thought about taking the bouncer into the bathroom. Genius! Bouncers, like the Svan Bouncer are small, lightweight and easy to move around which makes it ideal for bringing it in the bathroom while mama takes a shower. This way I can take a shower while baby is happy and awake. Then I can use nap-time to… nap!
The Svan Bouncer is designed to meet the rigorous safety standards in both Europe and the United States. Made from birch wood, polyurethane, PBDE-free foam and a cotton-polyester blend fabric the Svan is a high-end bouncer that will endure everyday use. It’s fully adjustable seat allows you to lay baby horizontal for naps or upright for feeding.
I was extremely surprised at how easy it was to assemble the bouncer. I love the simple design which makes it easy to use and even easier to store. I can’t wait for Baby 2 to make is arrival so I can use the Svan Bouncer. I can see it being used in almost every room of the house.
