I have a lot of Mommy friends. We often get together in the evenings, after the kids are in bed, for a little Mommy bonding time. It’s nice to swap stories about our kids and daily life, learning that we are all in this same “mom” boat together. Recently, MommyJuice wines contacted me about doing a review for their 2 wines for moms. I loved the idea of their product, but I don’t drink. (Nothing personal just don’t care for the stuff.) However, a lot of my mommy friends enjoy a nice glass of wine on occasion. So MommyJuice was kind enough to send us a few bottles for one of our get-togethers.
We were expecting about 10 moms but as usual life happens, kids get sick and we ended up with about 6 moms. We sat on the floor, ate pie and drank MommyJuice. We joked a bit about MommyJuice being another name for breast milk, but admitted a lot of us call wine, Mommy’s Juice. Everyone really liked the MommyJuice White Wine, which is a 100% Chardonnay from Montery County. However, no one really cared for the MommyJuice Red Wine, which is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Overall, we had a great time relaxing, laughing and sharing the joys and trials of being a mom. It’s nice that something as simple as a bottle of wine brought us together and helped us connect as mothers.
MommyJuice Wines was founded by Cheryl Murphy Durzy, a mom of 2 and 10+ year veteran of the wine industry in Sales and Marketing at Clos LaChance Wines. These wines were inspired by her young children that point to wine glasses everywhere claiming “That’s Mommy’s Juice!” Her vision includes balanced, fruit-forward wines that bring just a bit of peace after the chaos of everyday life as a parent.

I use Instagram almost every day and I love that it’s so easy for me to take a share pictures digitally, however I have very few pictures actually printed which means the pictures on my walls are ancient. This coming year I vow to have more pictures printed and to update my gallery wall. Printcopia…
I don’t think there is such a thing as having too many wet bags. For a long time we somehow survived with only one. But over time we have collected a few and I’ve learned what makes a good wet bag. 1. I prefer an easy to zip closed top. (drawstrings are unreliable and leave the…
It’s cold season and babies with boogers are fairly common. It seems that baby boogers are made out of rubber cement or some other strong gooey adhesive. A regular tissue just doesn’t cut it, you need something stronger. And sometimes stronger means pain for little noses. And if your little one is anything like mine…

Joe and I watch a lot of movies at home. Like most parents we don’t have a lot of time or money to go out on elaborate dates so we love checking out new movies, especially absurd and funny movies. Needless to say I was very excited to review “Extract”the newest film from writer-director, Mike…
