Swaddling Baby can be tricky. I never got the hang of it when Jude was born but there are so many great product available that make swaddling baby a breeze. I love the fashionable prints offered by SwaddleDesigns and the easy to use 123 Swaddle Instructions attached to each blanket. Swaddle Designs has so many beautiful and durable baby products, I had a hard time deciding which product I love most.
SwaddleDesigns Ultimate Receiving Blanket is large, square, lightweight and breathable (42 x 42 inches). It is made from super soft, premium, preshrunk cotton flannel.
Cotton Marquisette is similar to gauze but much softer due to finer threads and higher thread count. Large and square (46″ x 46″), perfect for swaddling – and many more uses! Wonderful sunshield on the stroller on a warm summer day.
I chose to review the Marquisette Swaddling Blanket since we are expecting baby #2 in June. I love that the Marquisette is made from lightweight, open-weave cotton and still offers the great designs of the Ultimate Reviving Blanket. I particularly love that the tag on each Swaddle Designs blankets has their special 123 swaddling instructions, this is extremely hand for first time moms.
The SwaddleDesigns Goldilocks Guide ~ baby should be dressed appropriately for the current temperature of their environment – not too hot, not too cold, but comfortably warm.

Jude is what one might call a “spirited” child. He has no fear and never looks back. I admire him for his outgoing personality but it also scares me. I’ve had those brief moments when I can’t see him playing at the park or museum and my heart skips a beat. Now I can take…
Being 9 months pregnant and huge, I’m pretty much hungry all the time. I find that I am always search for a snack and try to keep something with me wherever I go. Snacks that I can grab as I’m running out the door and are somewhat healthy are a must, that is why I…
I don’t consider myself to be tall but at 5’7″ I guess I’m taller than the average woman. Therefore I’ve always had a hard time finding pants and shirt that are long enough. In college I started wearing long tank tops under all of my shirts to make up for the lack of length in…
