The NC Symphony has a summer-long series of outdoor concerts called, Summerfest. Summerfest is held at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC and is the perfect evening activity for the family or a romantic date night. Pack a picnic, find the perfect seats on the shaded lawn and enjoy the music.
One of the upcoming Summerfest concerts is The Pines of Rome. Grab a seat under the pines of Regency Park and enjoy “The Pines of Rome,” the North Carolina Symphony’s musical toast to the natural world. Resident Conductor William Henry Curry leads the orchestra in a summer classical music concert highlighting imaginative compositions by Elgar and Copland, Rimsky-Korsakov’s ever-popular Flight of the Bumblebee and the Respighi masterpiece from which this concert takes its name.
The performance takes place at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary’s Regency Park on Saturday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m.
TICKETS: General admission lawn seating to “The Pines of Rome” is $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Covered table seating is also available for $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free to all Rex Healthcare Summerfest Series concerts.
