Out of nowhere it hits you. You kid is growing up. They suddenly decided they want to be a big kid and sleep in a big boy bed. No warning or anything. We struggled for a few weeks with this sudden transition and couldn’t seem to entice him to stay in the bed.
We decided that maybe getting Jude a fun set of big boy sheets may encourage him to actually stay in his bed. American Kids Bedding sent us the Wild Animals sheets set and it is absolutely adorable. We love pointing out and naming the animals together. The sheets are cute and comfy. They are just want Jude needed to help make this strange new bed his own.

DreamWorks Pictures’ THE HELP hits theatres Wednesday, August 10th. I’m super excited about this movie. It wasn’t until recently that I heard about the book and movie. I saw a tv special about the author and was captivated. While I have yet to read the book I think the story is going to be great…
We primarily use glass storage containers in our kitchen for a variety of reasons most of which are health based. With glass containers you don’t have to worry about BPA or other harmful chemicals seeping into your food. I particularly love that glass containers don’t stain like plastic. You may have plastic food storage containers…
The first day of school is just around the corner. Jude isn’t school age yet but we do go to the YMCA a lot and other toddler events where having your child’s stuff labeled is a must. Emily Press offers stylish and durable label stickers both you and your kids will love. You may remember…
Finding gifts for kids between the ages of 10 – 12 can be tricky. My 11 year old son wants to be a grown up but still wants some toys for Christmas. (My 41 year old husband also asked for LEGO so…) It can be hard to find a balance between too baby and too…

Summer is here and that means lots of swimming. We use cloth diapers so when we go to the pool I don’t want to use a disposable swim diaper. The primary goal of the swim diaper is to keep the solid waste out of the pool. Nifty Nappy Snappy SwimzEaze diapers are not only great…
