I am seriously lack some pink in my life. I love buying cute boy clothes for my son but I love when friends have little girls. But that doesn’t mean pink is only for girls. Jude absolutely adores Milly the Pink Kitty. He carries Milly around in her carrier and gives her hugs.
I think any girl OR boy would love Milly. Milly would make a great birthday present, especially the Birthday Girl Milly complete with birthday crown and cupcake. I received both Milly in her Carrier and Birthday Girl Milly. I haven’t given Jude Birthday Girl Milly because it’s not his birthday, plus he will never be a “birthday girl”. I will probably give it to my niece for her birthday.

Candy, Candy, Candy. That’s what I think of when someone says “trick-or-treat”. I hate passing out so much candy at Halloween but I also don’t want to be known as the house that passes out raisins (although my kids would love that!). Well, now I can omit candy and still be the cool house by…
As we started our family and the kids got old enough to participate in traditions we accidentally started a new Christmas family tradition and I love it, Christmas Picture Books. Every year we buy one or two new Christmas books to add to our collection. I keep all of our special Christmas books packed away…
As a woman I’m a little more aware of style where my husband’s methodology is if it fits and is clean, wear it. So any gift giving holiday is a great time to slip a few trendier pieces into his wardrobe. When I first met Joe he primarily work khaki pants and a black shirt….
This week our family has been sick. Needless to say the house is a bit of a disaster. I’ve been doing dishes only because we run out of clean things to eat on. Last night a wonderful friend brought our family dinner. We decided to use the new Hefty Basics disposable plates so there are…
We took the boys to Wet-n-Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, NC, on Saturday. I grew up going to Emerald Pointe but hadn’t been in almost 20 years. It was the same as I remember; it was just a little updated. When we walked into the park, they played popular music during Joe and my childhood….
With the temperatures warming up, we are spending more and more time outside. Exposure to the sun’s harmful UV Rays increases the risk of skin cancer. Protecting your child’s skin is important since a blistering sunburn in childhood increases a person’s chances of developing melanoma later in life. There are a few simple sun-safe habits…
