Discovering a Laurel Hills Park in Raleigh, NC

After a doctor’s appointment yesterday, Jude and I decided to check out a new park. We were near REX Hospital, and I remembered going to a park on Edwards Mill Rd. awhile back. So I drove around a bit, and low and behold, we found it! Laurel Hills Park

What a cool park. The “All Children’s Playground was carefully designed for the enjoyment of children of all physical capabilities.” In addition to the standard swings and slides, there are several swinging bridges and towers to climb. Jude had fun toddling around chasing an older boy. We didn’t stay too long since it was like 1000 degrees outside. But when the weather cools down a bit, we will be going back.
