Setting up Parental Controls on Paramount+ is easy and gives parents peace of mind. Parental Controls enable parents to restrict viewing for children based on ratings.

How to Set Up Parental Controls

Sign in to your Paramount+ account on a web browser or the Paramount+ app.
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down and click “Parental Controls” in the Account Settings and toggle the button to “On”.
Enter your account password and Click “Submit”
Create a four-digit PIN code to use for parental controls.
Set the content restrictions based on your child’s age or your personal preferences. You can select from the following options:
- All audiences (G): suitable for all ages.
- Older children (PG): may contain mild language, some violence, and suggestive content.
- Teens (PG-13): may contain more intense violence, strong language, sexual situations, and suggestive content.
- Adults (R): may contain graphic violence, strong language, explicit sexual content, and adult themes.
Click “Save”

Once you have set up parental controls, any content rated above your selected level will require your PIN code to access. Keep your PIN code safe and do not share it with anyone who should not have access to restricted content. You can change your parental control settings at any time by repeating these steps.

How to Create A Kid’s Profile

Sign in to your Paramount+ account on a web browser or the Paramount+ app.
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen
Click “Add Profile”
Choose “Kid” as the profile type.
Enter a name for the profile and click “Save.”
Choose a profile picture for the Kid Profile or use a default picture provided by the service.
Customize the Kid Profile’s parental controls based on your preferences. You can select the appropriate age range for the profile, set content restrictions, and set a PIN code to restrict access to content rated above your selected level.
Click “Save”
