The first day of holiday break is rough for my kids. They enjoy school so not seeing their friends or doing “activities” is a struggle. It’s even more difficult when it’s raining outside and they are confined to the house. Thankfully the first day of holiday break coincided with the launch of the new Netflix Original Series of Veggie Tales In The House.
The beloved faith-based brand hits the small screen with a fresh new look and all-new adventures. Join Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, and all their veggie friends as they explore new areas of their wondrous house while singing catchy, original songs included in each episode. Perfect for young families, this laugh-out-loud comedy seamlessly weaves good moral values into each episode in a fun, exciting way for Veggie lovers of all ages.
My boys have always love Veggie Tales so they were very excited about the new episodes on Netflix. I’m thrilled that we have some new, parent-approved and children loved, TV shows to watch over this holiday break.
I am part of the Netflix Stream Team ambassador program. I received no compensated for my time, but I was provided product. All opinions listed are 100% my own.

Confession: I use my kids as an ice breaker. I can be pretty shy, especially in new environments but my kids could make small talk with a garden gnome. We’re at a street festival or some other large event, I send my kids ahead of me and encourage them to engage in conversation for me….
It’s July and even though is in the triple digits across most of the US, I’ve got Christmas on my mind. I love photo Christmas cards, especially ones with cute babies. And since we just so happen to have a cute baby (and a cute preschooler) I am already excited about this year’s Christmas card. …
On Saturday we took a little road trip to Greensboro, NC to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. We kept telling Jude we were going to see Yo Gabba Gabba but he had no idea what we meant. Greensboro is just a little over an hour’s drive so we went a little early to have lunch…
Last year was the 1st year I didn’t go shopping on Black Friday. I had a 4 week old baby that was recovering from a 3 day stay in the hospital for RSV. Only a few things can come between me and my holiday shopping and my kids are certainly on the top of that…
I know a lot of people wear eyeglasses, people like my husband. He often wears contacts but to be honest I love it when he wears his glasses. Glasses are sexy in my opinion. There is just something about a guy wearing a stylish pair of glasses that makes me swoon. He has several…
Yesterday Jude and I braved the hot and humid North Carolina day to attend the Zhu-niverse tour stop at the Toys R’ US in Cary, NC. I’ve heard a lot about Zhu Zhu pets and Kung Zhu but never really knew what they were. Jude is a little too young to know about these type…
