Treating Baby Eczema with Exederm
All of my boys have sensitive skin but Simon’s is by far the most sensitive. This winter has been rough on his skin. His eczema has been pretty bad and I’ve tried a variety of baby lotions but they’ve only offered minimal relief.
Simon’s entire torso was covered with dry, scaly patches and even parts of his arms. He doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the patches but it looks uncomfortable.
I was in the process of consulting family and friends about what type of products they use for their baby’s skin when I received an email from Exederm asking if I would be interested in trying out their Baby Eczema Lotion and Exederm Baby Cream. I was thrilled to try a product that is specially formulated for babies with eczema.
I applied the lotion to his skin after his nighttime bath and then applied a bit of the flare control cream to some of the more aggravated spots during the day. It’s only been a few days but I can see and feel the difference on his skin. The lotion and moisturizer are both creamy and are easily applied without being greasy. The flare control cream is a bit thicker and also goes on smoothly. There are still dry patches but they are not as red or inflamed as they previously were.
I love that Exederm contains no dyes, scents, lanolin, Parabens, Formaldehyde, gluten or Propylene Glycol so it’s ultra-sensitive for baby’s skin. Exederm has a wide variety of products for babies and adults that have sensitive skin.
The National Eczema Association honored Exederm children’s skincare range with its coveted ‘Seal of Acceptance’ award.
If you or your little one have dry, sensitive skin I recommend trying out Exederm. I’m very pleased with the results it’s provided for Simon’s winter skin and will continue to use this product for all of my kids.
