Our Family Fun Disney Side Party
Over the weekend we had a Disney Side celebration with family. Jude, Noah and Simon along with their 8 cousins threw themselves one awesome Disney party.
Part of the fun of throwing a party is the planning and preparation so we let the kids take complete control of the party and they loved every minute. They decorated, help bake cookies, organized games and activities. For over 4 hours they were completely immersed in all things Disney.
The older kids loved entertaining the younger ones. My niece found some washable markers and “face painted” all of the kids. Noah loved in Pirate face and the little girls were beautiful princesses. They they drew funny faces and pictures on the balloons.
Grandma taught a few of the kids how to make cookies using the Mickey Mouse cookie cutters.
Then we sang some classic Disney tunes while eating cookies and Craisins and drinking lemonade.
The kids really loved using fabric markers to design their own t-shirts. We just he to make sure they didn’t mistake the fabric markers for the washable face markers. We even played a little Disney bingo with cash prizes. The kids used the runDisney signs to create their own game called, Everybody Dance. Where the oldest played songs on his guitar and when grandma help up the sign to dance the kids danced around then when she flipped the sign to stop they would have to freeze.
All of the kids had a blast showing all of the unique ways they show their Disney Side.
I received free products to host the Disney Side @ Home Celebration from Disney Parks and Mom Select, but my opinions are my own.
