Whole30 Day 4

Grocery shopping happened yesterday so our cupboards and refrigerator are full of paleo-friendly foods.

I bought a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store and we ate 3 meals from one chicken. I highly advise buying a rotisserie chicken because it’s quick protein that tastes great. I also bought a whole chicken, already cut up, that I plan to cook in the slow cooker so I will have more shredded chicken on hand.

What We Ate Day 4

Whole30 Breakfast eggs
Breakfast -2 Scrambled Eggs & 2 Slices of Bacon

After Breakfast Snack – Peach

Lunch – Rotisserie Chicken Lettuce Wraps

DinnerPaleo Shredded Chicken with Summer Veggies

Snack – Paleo Friendly Smoothie

We ate a late lunch and an early dinner so the 8pm smoothie was a great way to fill my hunger and my ice cream craving.

Recipe Review
The Paleo Shredded Chicken with Summer Veggies was superb. I used chicken from the rotisserie chicken I bought earlier in the day and then just sauteed some veggies. It took no more than 10 minutes to prep and cook. I like quick and easy.

Exercise
We took a family walk around the neighborhood. It wasn’t exactly a get your blood pumping walk but it was intentional exercise.

The Numbers
I’m already starting to feel more energy. And I’ve already lost 2 of the 3lbs I gain after we ended our last Whole30.

Day 1 Whole30 Challenge

Day 1 – 157.2 lbs

Day 4 – 155.4 lbs
