My lil swimmer

Jude had his first ever swim meet on Tuesday night.

Even though he can’t actually “swim” he is having so much fun.

We signed him up for swim team because 1) he is very enthusiastic about swimming and 2) swim team registration was actually cheaper than swim lessons. It’s a neighborhood team (actually the same neighborhood team I swam for when I was growing up) so it’s very low-key and fun. He is in the 6 and under category so they only swim half the length of the pool, have catchers and get cupcakes afterward.

My hope is that by the end of the season he will be able to swim some of the meet without any assistance and that he has a TON OF FUN.
