Coping with Common Pregnancy Discomforts

There are a lot of discomforts that come along with being pregnant.

  • Morning Sickness
  • Constipation
  • Fatigue
  • Back Pain
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Ligament Pain

I’ve had them all during my pregnancies and these are only a few.

One of the very first symptoms I have in pregnancy is constipation, that’s actually how I knew I was pregnant with my last child. Even before the pregnancy test came up positive my bowels told me I was pregnant.

Constipation during pregnancy can be very uncomfortable and because you are limited to the types of medications you can take while pregnant it may seem unbearable. But don’t worry here are a few ways you can treat constipation during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

How to Treat Constipation During Pregnancy

  1. Eat foods with high dietary fiber
  2. Drink a lot of water
  3. Exercise
  4. Take a pregnancy stool softener like DulcoEase® Pink™(Please consult with your doctor before taking any medications while pregnant of breastfeeding.)

I’m not currently pregnant but I am breastfeeding and occasionally experience constipation. I’m very cautious of the things I put in my body since I’m breastfeeding but I’m very comfortable using DulcoEase® Pink™. (Please consult with your doctor before taking any medications while pregnant of breastfeeding.)
