Happiness is… Peanuts Team Snoopy Review
The package arrived a few days ago and upon receiving it Jude immediately laid claim to the new Peanuts DVD, Happiness is…Peanuts Team Snoopy. We’ve since watched the DVD several times, I think he likes it! The newest release from the Peanuts gang is a sports themed collection of the TV specials Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown and an episode from The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show.
I love that within a few hours of watching any new Peanuts show Jude can quote entire lines. He is absolutely captivated by the characters. In a time when most cartoons are filled with loud music, dancing and constant action it’s a true testament to the reach of Charlie Brown. People young and old find something to love about Charlie Brown and his crew.
Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown tells of a new baseball season where Charlie Brown is faced with the decision to trade his teammate, Lucy for one of Peppermint Patty’s players, Marice. Will the trade end the losing streak for Charlie Brown? Will Marcie have what it takes? Will Peppermint Patty have the patience to put up with Lucy and her antics.
Finally, there are three featured segments from the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, all sports related.
