One of my favorite things to give as Christmas gifts are personalized items. Anyone can buy a standard story book the day before Christmas but personalization shows that you put great thought into the gift. Just Kids Gifts offerschildren’s personalized music CD’s, personalized photo DVD’s, and personalized music DVD’s, all of which would make great gifts.
I wanted to get a personalized book for Noah to celebrate his birth but because we had a home birth it was a little challenging to find a book that didn’t reference the hospital so I opted to get a book for Jude. Every night before bed we read books, sing and pray with Jude. So I got him the Gods Special Gifts to Me Personalized Book. Because Jude is a fairly unique name he knows the story is about him and I can tell it makes him feel very special. There is even a part at the end of the story that mentions his friends by name and he thinks that is pretty funny.

Did you know that eating seafood twice a week is recommended as a part of a healthy diet. But finding quality seafood inland is often hard to find. That’s when I turn to frozen specialty seafood like SeaPak. I love popcorn shrimp but had never been able to add it to my weekly meal plan…
Our family eats tacos at least once a week. Jude absolutely loves tacos. It surprises me how many tacos he can consume. One thing I like about making tacos for my family is I can always sneak in a few healthy vegetables and no one is the wiser. We recently received Ortega Whole Grain Taco…
I love baking and nothing completes a warm piece of pie like whipped topping. And nothing completes a hot cup of coffee like a smooth creamer like Rich’s. Since I don’t drink coffee I was really hoping to find Rich’s Whipped Topping in a store near me but I didn’t have much luck. I did…
Friday night the family and I went to z pizza in Cary, NC. I’d heard of z pizza but never actually had the opportunity to eat there until this weekend. We love pizza and eat it about once a week. Joe in particular loves California style pizza so we were very excited to try We…
Do you have a family movie night? We usually watch a movie together as a family on Friday nights. It’s a fun time to snuggle on the couch with popcorn and candy to watch a movie the whole family will enjoy. Tonight, Saturday, April 16th at 8/7c on FOX a new Family move from Walmart…
Summer is almost over but that doesn’t mean you can pack away your sunscreen. You should really protect your skin everyday, regardless of the season or weather. But you should be sure to take extra care, especially on days like today where the heat index is at an estimated 105 degrees. I really love that…
