One of my favorite things to give as Christmas gifts are personalized items. Anyone can buy a standard story book the day before Christmas but personalization shows that you put great thought into the gift. Just Kids Gifts offerschildren’s personalized music CD’s, personalized photo DVD’s, and personalized music DVD’s, all of which would make great gifts.
I wanted to get a personalized book for Noah to celebrate his birth but because we had a home birth it was a little challenging to find a book that didn’t reference the hospital so I opted to get a book for Jude. Every night before bed we read books, sing and pray with Jude. So I got him the Gods Special Gifts to Me Personalized Book. Because Jude is a fairly unique name he knows the story is about him and I can tell it makes him feel very special. There is even a part at the end of the story that mentions his friends by name and he thinks that is pretty funny.

Jude and I had a special mother/son date Saturday morning to see a special theater screening of The Pirate Fairy. He dressed up as a pirate and we set sail through the damp and dreary weather to see this new movie from DisneyToon Studios we had a blast. We both really enjoyed this movie. I…
Maternity Fashion is probably my favorite type of fashion. You really get to emphasize your growing belly and it’s just fun. After 3 pregnancies some of my maternity clothes are long past being “in style” and are actually wearing out so I’m indulging in a few new fashionable maternity pieces this time around. I just…
I’ve been slowly introducing multiplication to Jude in anticipation for this upcoming school year. We’ve learned skip counting and have discussed the concept of multiplication but we have only briefly touched on learning our multiplication tables. I had a hard time memorizing my multiplication tables so I’m working diligently with Jude so he easily learn…
With Jude I practiced on-demand breastfeeding which meant that anytime and anywhere I could possibly need to breastfeed. While I’m very confident in my right to breastfeed and never encountered any confrontation about when and where I could breastfeed I still tried to be respectful of others. I used a nursing cover most of the…
On Saturday we took a little road trip to Greensboro, NC to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. We kept telling Jude we were going to see Yo Gabba Gabba but he had no idea what we meant. Greensboro is just a little over an hour’s drive so we went a little early to have lunch…
