One of my favorite things to give as Christmas gifts are personalized items. Anyone can buy a standard story book the day before Christmas but personalization shows that you put great thought into the gift. Just Kids Gifts offerschildren’s personalized music CD’s, personalized photo DVD’s, and personalized music DVD’s, all of which would make great gifts.
I wanted to get a personalized book for Noah to celebrate his birth but because we had a home birth it was a little challenging to find a book that didn’t reference the hospital so I opted to get a book for Jude. Every night before bed we read books, sing and pray with Jude. So I got him the Gods Special Gifts to Me Personalized Book. Because Jude is a fairly unique name he knows the story is about him and I can tell it makes him feel very special. There is even a part at the end of the story that mentions his friends by name and he thinks that is pretty funny.

I’ve been cutting back my sugary treat intake over the past few months and with this blazing hot summer heat there is nothing I want more than a huge bowl of ice cream. When Joe and I were first married we would eat a bowl of ice cream almost every night… oh to be in…
Marvel’s Black Panther is a much anticipated movie, especially for our Marvel loving family. I knew of Black Panther but didn’t really know the story or origins of the character. So here is Joe’s review since he is our in-house expert on all things Marvel. Joe’s Review Black Panther is a surprisingly complex, character-driven story…
Any parent of a newborn can tell you that sleep is a rarity. It’s pretty rough for the first few weeks but eventually you adjust to the middle of the night wakings and functioning on less than optimal sleep. Not only will we be re-entering the “parents of a newborn” stage but Joe is a…
The first day of holiday break is rough for my kids. They enjoy school so not seeing their friends or doing “activities” is a struggle. It’s even more difficult when it’s raining outside and they are confined to the house. Thankfully the first day of holiday break coincided with the launch of the new Netflix…
I know a lot of people are concerned with the ingredients in not only the foods they eat but the products they use on their skin. Well, what better way to closely monitor exactly what ingredients are in these products than to make them yourself. With the Bulk Herb Stores Salve Mix Kit you can…
We are Cheerios addicts. Every morning when Jude wakes up he asks for Cheerios and Juice. With Kroger’s current promotion I can buy a month’s worth of Cheerios and get FREE milk to go along with it. Now we can eat Cheerios for breakfast, lunch and dinner if we so choose. I know Jude will…
