Joe LOVES Ice Cream. I love it too but it does not love me back. I’m trying to lose this baby weight and our nightly bowl of ice cream is NOT helping. Well, I have finally discovered a way to enjoy an occasional frozen treat and stay on my weight lose course, Weight Watchers Ice Cream.
Weight Watchers has a new line of Frozen Treats like the Snack Size Ice Cream Sandwiches, Dark Chocolate Dulcé de Leché Dessert Bars, Strawberry Fruit Bar, and Strawberry Smoothie Bar. I’m a total chocolate lover but I think my favorite is the Strawberry Smoothie Bar, it’s a blend of low-fat strawberry frozen yogurt and real strawberries. This bar is a good source of vitamin C and has the creamy goodness of a smoothie with just 60 calories and a PointsPlus value of 2 per bar.
I do also really like the Snack Size Ice Cream Sandwiches which are the perfect size to give me my chocolate fix. They are made with Dutch Chocolate and Vanilla Bean and at only 80 calories each that’s a win in my book. The Dark Chocolate Dulce de Leche Dessert Bars were good but Dulce de Leche is always a little too sweet for me. I know how can something be too sweet? And the Strawberry Fruit Bars are just pure fresh strawberry goodness, perfect for warm weather or to sooth a sore throat.

We saw Cirque du Soleil Quidam last night at the PNC Arena here in Raleigh. I went to college near Orlando, Florida and always wanted to attend the Cirque du Soleil show at Disney but as a poor college student I never had the money, then Quidam came to Raleigh. Joe and I took some…
Aside from all the typical boy things like pirates, cars, tools and space ships Jude loves princesses. I totally get it princesses are awesome and fairy tales are for both boys and girls. The story usually involves some evil villain or dragon and of course a brave prince to save the day. So I wasn’t…
We don’t go out to eat often but when we do (usually Sunday afternoons) we want it to be something nutritious yet still tasty. That is why we often frequent Noodles & Company. They have something for everyone at a reasonable price. I really love their summer salads they have right now. I’m a sucker…
Jude is really into toys you can push around right now. And he’s really into ducks. Well, he’s really into dogs but ducks are a close second. Either way he was very excited when I gave him his new Push Along Duck from ImagiPLAY. After hugging it several times and saying, “du, du” he pushed…
We eat Macaroni and Cheese at least once a week for lunch. It’s quick and easy and just what I need to stay sane with 2 littles. I try to add a side dish of veggies to our meal but more often than not the veggies get pushed aside for a second helping of Mac…
