I love cheese, especially really good cheese. I was thrilled to try the Limited Edition Holiday Reserve Cheese from Cracker Barrel. We made several delicious treats with our cheese. It was great on several different sandwiches we made including a fabulous grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. It’s also great with crackers for a snack or finger food for holiday party. The cheese has a great nutty yet sweet flavor and a slight sharpness which I love in a good cheddar cheese. Joe really loved this cheese and I have a feeling we will be buying as much as we can before it’s no longer available.

Can you believe it’s already November? Christmas decorations have already been set up in department stores and I still haven’t thrown away the rotting jack-o-lantern on my front porch. Little-by-little I’m starting to get in the Christmas spirit. In fact just this week I read two great Christmas stories that tempted me to break out…
As a teenager, I was a huge fan of Veggie Tales. Even though it was a show designed for kids it became a big hit with kids of all ages. The shows convey moral themes based on Christianity spliced with satirical references to pop culture and current events. So, I was extremely excited to be…
Birthing a baby is hard work. Being pregnant is hard work. That is why it is so important to stay hydrated during pregnancy and labor. I go to the gym a few times a week. I remind myself that I’m training for a marathon, a birth marathon. I was in labor with Jude for over…
In my opinion no summer is complete with out a cookout and no cookout is complete without burgers and no burger is complete without ketchup. Recently while eating burgers we used the new Simply Heinz Ketchup on our burgers and honestly we couldn’t tell a difference. It was still great tasting just like the…
Almost every Friday night we have a family movie night. The boys get to pick out a movie and we eat dinner and popcorn on a blanket in the living room. They absolutely love it. The other night we watched Finding Nemo, ate home made pizza and had a special treat of GH Cretors Chicago…
My boys ask for French Toast almost everyday. I try to make them a big breakfast at least once a week and it’s usually French Toast as per their request. We don’t eat a lot of grains except for the occasional sandwich or beloved French toast. I was excited to try the Udi’s breakfast selections…
