Happy Birthday Mama

Today is my mom’s birthday. Right now she is at the beach celebrating with my dad. He takes her to the beach almost every year for her birthday even though he hates the beach, he knows how much she loves it.

I’m very blessed to have an awesome mom. She gave me perms when I was 6 years old because I wanted hair like Sandi Patty. In Junior High she took me and my friends shopping, to concerts, on wild adventures all while listened to our crazy music. She is definitely a “cool” mom. But she also taught me so much. She would spend her evenings helping me with my homework, teaching me to bake, listening to me talk about my hopes and fears, she is my perfect example of what a wonderful Godly mom looks like.

I know she isn’t perfect but she loves my brother and I with her whole heart. She is a great mom, wife, business woman, grandma, friend and so much more. I love you mama. Happy Birthday.
