Joe is a bit of a techy. We can easily max out all of the outlets in the house charging his various gadgets. So when I first heard about the Powermat, I knew it was just what we needed. I really love the portable Powermat which still has the same benefits of the standard Powermat but it folds up for easy travel.
With the Powermat we can charge up to 3 different devices while only using one outlet. I really like that it comes with the different adapters so you can plug in just about anything. However, I didn’t realize that our iPod was too old for the iPod dock charge, it was too fat, but luckily there is an apple adapter in the universal receiver.
This is a great device and would make for an excellent gift for any techy in your life.

A few weeks ago Joe and I had a much needed date night to attend an advanced screening of the new romantic comedy, About Time. It looked like a cute movie but to be honest my expectations weren’t too high, mostly because I didn’t know too much about the film. Both Joe and I were…
Growing up my husband was a huge Bryan Adams fan. So when I was offered the opportunity to review Bryan Adams’ latest album, Bare Bones Joe was super excited. Bare Bones is a great album that strips down a collection of Adam’s hit songs and lets the simply beauty of the songs shine through. Unplugged…
Candy. Lots and lots of candy. That’s the best part of Halloween, according to my kids anyway. We currently have Hershey’s Halloween Candy overflowing from the candy bowl, so I decided to get a little creative without a lot of effort and make a Halloween Candy Brownie Pizza. Every Friday night, we have family movie…

But you should be sure to take extra care, especially on days like today where the heat index is at an estimated 105 degrees. I really love that…
