Joe is a bit of a techy. We can easily max out all of the outlets in the house charging his various gadgets. So when I first heard about the Powermat, I knew it was just what we needed. I really love the portable Powermat which still has the same benefits of the standard Powermat but it folds up for easy travel.
With the Powermat we can charge up to 3 different devices while only using one outlet. I really like that it comes with the different adapters so you can plug in just about anything. However, I didn’t realize that our iPod was too old for the iPod dock charge, it was too fat, but luckily there is an apple adapter in the universal receiver.
This is a great device and would make for an excellent gift for any techy in your life.

Both Joe and I play instruments, he plays guitar and I play piano. I hope the boys show interest in learning an instrument when they get a bit older. I think music helps children learn discipline, math skills and an self expression through art. Jude has always enjoyed music. We sing together every night before…
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine I don’t own all of these things on this list but the things I don’t own they are on my wish list and Iwill probably soon own. I don’t own the Lightweight Cozy Cardigan by A New Day, yet. I love wearing caridgans because it’s a…
You may remember the review I did a few weeks ago for the new Veggietales DVD, It’s a Meaningful Life. This is quickly becoming a holiday favorite in or house. The story is a great reminder of what the true meaning of the Christmas season is all about. I’m thrilled to be able to offer…
Do you have a picky eater? Luckily, Jude will eat just about anything. But I know many moms that struggle with getting their child to eat anything other than chicken nuggets and french fries. Even though Jude is a good eater I still want to make sure he is getting all the essential vitamins and…

Children can bring a town to life, using various art styles that reflect their age and mood. They can watch their world turn from day to night, change the weather, add animated characters and…
Jude has sensitive skin, especially with some of the natural bath and lotion products we use. So once I found a product that worked for him I basically stuck with it. However, I was offered the chance to review Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo so I thought I would test it out. We tried a…
