When I was pregnant with Jude I gain a ton of weight, not literally a ton but it was way more than I expected. I also expected that it would just go away after he was born… boy was I wrong. He’s two years old and I still have an extra pesky 15lbs hanging around my mid-section.
For Christmas I got a membership to the YMCA, which I love, but I don’t always get to go the the gym… and sometimes I just don’t feel like leaving the house, so I like having workout DVDs at home so I can take advantage of nap times and workout.
I really like Lindsay Brin’s Shed 5 Fast because she’s a mom like me who is trying to lose the baby belly. The first time I tried the workout I didn’t make it all the way through, mostly because Jude woke up from his nap but I wasn’t sad to stop. After a few days of working the same routine I made it all the way through and it was awesome. I could certainly feel the effects of the workout the next day, which is always a good sign for me. I also love the interval levels so as I get stronger and leaner I can just switch up my routine to add a little more challenge and grow stronger.
