Sarah McLachlan – "Laws of Illusion" Review
I have always enjoyed listening to Sarah McLachlan’s songs. Her voice moves you and the words to her lyrics inspire passion. I was anxiously awaiting the release of her newest album, Laws of Illusion as it’s been many years since she’s released a new album. After all the years of anticipation I was not let down by Laws of Illusion.
The beauty of her voice and the passion in her songs is still there and even more inspiring. Laws of Illusion offers a great variety of upbeat pop songs and poetic lyrics. I love the piano-based song, “Loving You Is Easy”. And the lyrics of “Illusions of Bliss” are a wonderful contrast to the poppy music that accompanies it. Finally, I really enjoyed “Heartbreak” it’s a refreshing and smooth.
