May Birthday Bash

May is a great and busy month in our home. Not only do we celebrate mother’s day but both Joe and I celebrate our birthdays. We are 2 years and 1 week apart, he’s older! Well this year I’m turning the big three zero so I thought I’d have a little fun with a mega birthday bash celebration.
The image above is of me and Joe from our Save the Date cards.
I’m in the midst of lining up some great products for both him and myself to review and giveaway. The Birthday Bash will occur over the duration of the month of May.  So far I’ve got some really great stuff lined up and I’m working on getting more.

Extra Entries
Of course I’m going to offer you the opportunity to gain extra entries. Here are two ways to gain extra entries before the start of the Birthday Bash on May 1st.

  1. RSVP to the event. Leave a comment telling me what gifts you or your spouse would like to receive for your birthday this year. (2 extra entries)
  2. Add the Birthday Bash Button to your blog. Leave a comment with the URL address of where I can find the link. (5 extra entries)

You can do both of these options to gain a total of 7 addition entries into all of the “Birthday Bash” giveaways. Must be completed before May 1, 2010.

Jude and Noah joined Cub Scouts a few months ago. Joe was a Boy Scout and ever since Jude learned about Boy Scouts he’s been begging to become scout. There are so many extra curricular activities that kids can participate in but we decided the benefits of scouting were the best for our boys. Joe…

  • PEEK in my Pantry

I don’t have an actual pantry. It’s more like 4 cabinets that are filled with food. When we moved in (about 3 months ago) I just kind of threw everything in there assuming one day I would reorganize it all. But between pregnancy, newborn, a busy 3 year old and every day life I haven’t…

  • Not Ashamed To Brag On My Husband

On Monday I wrote about how my husband totally rocked Mother’s Day weekend. After I posted it I started to feel a little guilty about it.  Why? Because I felt it might make other mothers who didn’t have a great Mother’s Day feel bad. It’s silly really because first of all I shouldn’t care what…

I just read Mannly Mama’s post today about being a Millennial and this quote got me thinking, “Work ethic isn’t a generation thing. It’s a parenting thing to some degree and an internal drive.”. Millennials are accused of being a lazy, whiny, self-centered generation. I’m a Millennial but I’m none of those things, except…
