Thursday night after the Maundy Thursday service we went out to eat at The Flying Biscuit. Joe had to play the second service so it was my parents, Joe’s parents, grandma, me and Jude. We had a lot of fun watching Jude dip is pancakes in syrup.
Friday morning we went to the NC Museum of Life and Science. It was a warm day but we had fun looking at the bears, wolves, lemurs, butterflies, playing with drums, looking at more animals and playing… lots of playing.
Friday we attempted to join the Raleigh Easter egg hunt but there were too many people and Jude had a freak out moment when all the toddler rushed the tiny egg hunt space. So we left and ate lunch at Tir Na Nog, where our neighbor, the manager, visited with us. Then we did a little shopping at North Hills, ate dinner at home and watched the Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Sunday we went to a great church service at Vintage 21. Then ate lunch at my parent’s house and held an egg hunt just for Jude. We are really blessed that our parents really like each other. I mean our dads bought the same truck.
After Grandma, PaPop and Great Grandma went home we just chilled at home. I think all the excited of the weekend finally caught up with Jude as he fell asleep in his highchair. (a first for him)
