Save-a-Lot a Grand Opening in Charlotte, NC

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of a Save-a-Lot in Charlotte, NC. I wasn’t too familiar with Save-a-Lot stores so I learned a lot at the opening celebration. I was extremely pleased to see that in conjunction with the grand opening of this location, they made a sizable donation to a local food bank. 

I love saving money and discount stores but to be honest I’ve always been a little leery of discount groceries. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the products carried in Save-a-Lot stores are comparable to major brands and their selection of fresh produce looked great. I wish there was a location closer to me.

In addition to learning about Save-a-Lot I also got to meet some great local bloggers.
