When Jude isn’t feeling well he hates to be prodded and poked, especially with in-ear thermometers. So I was ecstatic to learn about a Thermometer that was used externally. The Exergen TemporalScanner measures temperature with a stroke across the forehead. I will admit that I did have a brief moment where I thought the device didn’t work but then I read the instructions and learned you have to take the cap off! Duh! So my advice is to read the instructions first so you ensure an accurate reading.

Meal Planning Upgrade Every week I work on meal planning for our family of 6. Joe bought me this cute chalkboard menu from Target a while back but the chalk that came with it kind of sucks. But I didn’t even realize there was another other until I heard about Chalkola. Chalkola Chalk Markers are…
I’ve been wanting a new vacuum for some time now. I’ve actually never owned a full-size vacuum and although we only have carpet upstairs in our home, I feel it’s been somewhat neglected. With baby #2 on the way and Jude showing signs of allergies I’ve been obsessed with making sure my home is super…
We aren’t huge football fans but we are big fans of pizza. The one food Joe really missed during our Whole30 Challenge was pizza. And even though we don’t regularly watch football we always watch the SuperBowl. We will be watching the SuperBowl at home this year since the kids have to go to bed…
I love to give homemade goodies as gifts to my friends and family for Christmas. Not only is it a cost effective gift but they taste yummy too! Last year I made chocolate covered pretzels and peppermint bark. They both were a big hit! I did have a little trouble figuring out something creative yet…
Today we’re nearing the end of the B Clean Spring Cleaning Event. I hope your home is super clean. I know mine is. FYI if you decide to do a spring cleaning event on your blog it means you’ll have to do A LOT of cleaning! But it’s good because it has forced me to…
Jude is a messy eater which means a portion of his food inevitably ends up on the floor. It’s gets tiring breaking out the mop and bucket to clean the floor every day. So I’m a fan of any tool that will help expedite my time cleaning the floor. I really like the Rubbermaid Reveal…
