A Fair Day

·

Yesterday Joe took a much needed half day from work and we went to the NC State Fair. The weather was perfect, warm but not too warm. We saw cows and rabbits both of whom Jude thought were dogs and he barked at them. Then we met up with some friend who have an adorable little girl just a few months younger than Jude. Adeline and Jude had fun talking to each other but we never figure out what was so funny.

We tried chocolate covered bacon, looked at the crafts and ate NC State Ice Cream. Jude enjoyed looking at all the people and eating chocolate covered frozen bananas.

We all split some boiled peanuts and Pappys Old Fashion Root Beer then picked up alot of free stickers and pens before heading home. It was a fun but exhausting day. Surprisingly we didn’t eat too horribly we just ate alot. We are a little sad we never found out what is a Chicken Boat.
