Tips on staying organized:
- Find a set time to clip and sort coupons and follow through each week, possibly during your favorite TV show. Try to file them as you clip them.
- Always put coupons in the same place so they are not lost.
- You do NOT have to go through and purge all the expired coupons every single week. Once a month is sufficient for most people.
- Whatever you do, find the system that works best for YOU. If it doesn’t make sense to you and seems easy to use, you won’t use it!
Many people have different ways of organizing things so there is NO RIGHT way. Some people organize according to category (dairy, canned items, frozen, etc). Some people organize according to the layout of their regular store. Some people like to use baseball card inserts in their binder and some people use a photo album.
