A Snow White Christmas at Duke Energy Center, Raleigh, NC

·

We took the boys to see A Snow White Christmas at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. We loved the re-imagined story and Panto style (audience interactive) of the production. The show was geared toward children but was filled with modern music and humor that were designed to keep the parents entertained as well.

The kids were captivated the entire duration of the show which lasted a little over 2 hours (with a brief intermission). The highlights of the show included the fun improvisational comedy of Muddles the court jester and the beautiful singing of Snow White and the Queen. The pop culture references and pop songs gave the performance a fun up-to-date appeal that had everyone laughing and singing along.

The kids loved the show so much they requested to watch the classic film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when we got home. We highly recommend you take the time to see this star studded performance at while it’s in Raleigh this week.

A Snow White Christmas

Fun for the entire family, enjoy this wonderful, witty retelling of a classic fairy-tale. With a score consisting of well-known pop songs, follow Snow White and her Seven Dwarves as they try to save Christmas from her Wicked Aunt. This British Panto style performance will have you laughing in the aisles and singing from your seats.

Michael Campion of Netflix’s Fuller House and Local Raleigh Area Kids join this star-filled cast! Campion joins previously announced Olivia Sanabia (Disney Channel’s Coop & Cami Ask the World, Amazon’s original series Just Add Magic) as Snow White, Grammy Award winning recording artist and actress Michelle Williams as The Wicked Queen, Jared Gertner (Broadway’s The Book of Mormon) as Muddles, Garrett Clayton (Teen Beach Movie, Teen Beach 2, Hairspray Live!) as The Huntsman, and Tony Award Winner Neil Patrick Harris as The On Screen Magic Mirror.
