Abel’s Baby Dedication

Yesterday was Mother’s Day. I don’t need or want a lot of fancy gifts of special treatment for Mother’s Day. All I want is a break from cooking and a day spent with my family. I have to say my family is the best and they pulled off the best Mother’s Day.

At church we had Abel dedicated during baby dedication time.

Then we had lunch with my parents, grandma, aunt and uncle.

We had a lovely afternoon playing outside and relaxing.

And we ended the evening with a lovely home-cooked meal by Joe. Grilled Cuban Salmon with Beans and Rice!

My only negative comment from the day is that I had an on/off headache throughout the day. Otherwise it was pretty darn perfect.
