Police Station: Homeschool Field Trip

I’ve mentioned that I love the flexibility that comes with homeschooling. We can do field trips whenever we want but I’m not great at planning/organizing field trips. Thankfully some of the moms in our Classical Conversations group are better planners and we get to benefit from their skill.

Today I took Jude to the Wake Forest Police Department where we spent an hour learning about the duties of the police officers. Office Graham taught the kids how to call 911, gave them safety tips and much more. We even got to meet Storm, a police dog.
