New Costumes for my Super Heroes

My boys love to dress up as their favorite characters and right now my boys are obsessed with super heroes, specifically the Avengers. In fact, we have an entire bin of just dress up outfits and about 80% of the costumes are super hero related. Thor was the final costume we needed to round out our Avengers set.

Costume Discounters has some great super hero costumes among their New Arrivals, like the Thor costume we received. I really love this costume. It is one of the nicest costumes we have in our costume collection. The quality of the costume is superb and can certainly handle repetitive use from the boys unlike a lot of other costumes we own that are designed for one-time use (think Halloween).

The Thor costume has heavy duty built-in boot coverings and arm cuffs, both of these features provide a more 3-dimensional effect to the costume. The padded muscle chest features a great armored look design. There is also a detachable red cape which uses hook and loop strips for easy removal. The overall design and pattern of the costume is very detailed and is easily identifiable as a Thor costume. It is a 3-piece costume with the pant/boot covering as one piece, the top shirt and cape. My oldest son Jude is an average size 6 year old and this size small costume fit him rather well. The pants were a little long on my almost 4 year old son. The Thor wig and hammer are sold separately.

Overall, the Child Avengers 2 Deluxe Thor Costume is a great costume and at only $34.97 it’s a great buy from Costume Discounters. It’s a well made costume that is great for Halloween or everyday dress up play.
