Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Review + Giveaway
It’s no secret, we are big fans of Star Wars. We are also big Angry Birds fans so new release of Angry Birds Star Wars II was sort of a big deal in our house. With the release of Angry Birds Star Wars II, Hasbro has launched Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods.
Telepods are a fun way to expand your virtual game. Each telepod figure contains a tiny QR code located on the bottom and when placed on the magnifying base they can be teleported into the new Angry Birds Star Wars II app. You can also play with the figures and accompanying sets on their own, although I’ve heard from my friend Andrea that her son has played with his telepod figures so much that they QR code has worn off his Yoda figure.
We first played with our telepod figures and vehicle pack without integration into the app. The kids love building different scenes, placing the evil Pig and launching the Rebel Bird in his vehicle to knock out the Pig. We received the Endor Chase Vehicle Pack and a Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker in our Figure Pack.
Then we teleported our characters into the game. They were pretty simple to add to the game, just place the magnifying base over the iPad camera and zap, into the game they go. We had a little trouble at first because we were trying to teleport a bird into the pig side but once figured it out it was a lot of fun.
