The day I became Mama
5 years ago today I became a mama.
Jude,
You have so much fire and passion inside of you some days it drives me nuts but I can’t wait to see where the Lord leads you as you grow. One minute you have me fuming with frustration and the next we’re rolling on the floor laughing. The times I think I’m trying to teach you and make you into a presentable person, are really the moments you are teaching me what it means to be a mom, what it means to truly love. You’ve taught me so much about life and you made me a mama for which I am forever grateful.

Mama
Jude will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.
He loves tree houses, building, art projects, Star Wars, superheros, reading and video games.
His favorite foods are Chick-fil-a, spaghetti, tomatoes, pineapple, watermelon (any fruit), popcorn, pumpkin yogurt… pretty much any food he’ll try.
He loves swimming.
He likes to watch Superbook, Iron Man, Octonauts, Wallace & Gromit, The Muppets and anything Disney.
He loves his Grandma & Boogie and Grammy & PopPop. And he adores his cousins.
He wants to go to the beach in Grandma & Boogie’s motor home almost every day.
He goes to bed around 8pm and wakes about 7:30 am and of course never naps.
He’s on the verge of reading. Loves math and is really good at addition. And has a general love of learning.
He doesn’t weigh 40lbs yet but could probably lift 40lbs.
He wears a size 4 because he’s so skinny and a size 11 shoe.
