My boys can eat, and Noah is no exception. I’m seriously impressed with the amount of food this child can put away. He’s getting to the point where runny baby food just doesn’t cut it. So I’m trying to integrate more solid foods, but he only has 1 tooth so chewing is a bit of a challenge. I don’t need to blend foods for him but a little mashing wouldn’t hurt. This is where the new Nuk Freshfoods Mash & Serve bowl comes in.
Yesterday I made some sweet potatoes for dinner and I was able to simply mash up Noah’s dinner with the Mash & Serve bowl. He loved the thicker texture and devoured them in no time. I like that the Mash & Serve is simple to use, easy to clean and small enough to store with my regular bowls. We have a big baby food processor which is nice for making big batches of thinner baby food but sometimes I just need to mash up something quick and don’t want to haul out all of the parts to the food processor.
The Nuk Freshfoods Mash & Serve is great at home of on-the-go. Freshfoods products were developed in partnership with world-renowned child nutritionist, Annabel Karmel. They are available at Wal-Mart and other leading retailers.

Pretend play is an important part of a child’s development and what better way to play pretend than with puppets. Received an adorable Cate and Levi bear puppet for Jude’s birthday. He loves for me to tickle him with the puppet and make it talk and sing silly songs. I’ve tried to get him…
Cirque du Soleil Corteo is in Raleigh, NC until Sunday, February 10th and it’s a must see show. I had the privilege of attending the opening show last night and it was utter magic. This year they raised over 350K for Step Up Ministries, an interfaith nonprofit organization that teaches low-income and homeless people to find jobs and learn life skills to lead self-sufficient lives. Five great bands performed at…

So what better way to celebrate than with some chicken cheeseburgers by Foster Farms. Sleep… beautiful sleep. Nothing is sweeter than a sleeping baby. And nothing can be more challenging than a baby that won’t sleep. I would have given anything for a few extra minutes of sleep when Jude was a baby. Naively I just assumed my baby would be the world’s most awesome sleeper. HA! I didn’t…
