Noah sleeps in the bed with us at night. The main reason he sleeps with us is because it makes nighttime feedings sooooo much easier. I can just roll over and nurse him without either of us fully waking up. But to nurse easily at night I need comfortable pajamas that allow me to nurse lying down.
Milk Nursingwear has 3 great nursing night gown designs which make night nursing so much easier. I have the Goddess Nursing Lounge Dress in Teal Blue and I love it. It’s probably my favorite night gown. What I like about the Goddess is that I can nurse from the top or through the lower nursing panel. It’s also a super soft cotton fabric which is great for sleeping. It’s also a very pretty nightgown, I think new moms should feel pretty even when they are sleeping.
Although I don’t think nursing wear is required for nursing it is a wonderful luxury that makes breastfeeding all that much easier.

With the holiday’s right around the corner that means a lot of Christmas parties. Being almost 4 months pregnant I’m at the stage where it’s not quite obvious that I’m pregnant yet. I want to look cute and not just fat so I think a flowy dress is the perfect way to go. That is…
I’ve always been baffled by swaddling. With Jude I never could get it right. It always seemed to loose or he seemed to be displeased with my wrapping techniques. He most certainly could have used some swaddling, I think it would have helped him transition from the womb. The Miracle Blanket is great because it…
It’s no secret that these are hard times and families are pinching every penny they have. In our home we’ve tried several methods of tracking and planning our finances but they all seem to fall short in the end. That is why I was super excited to give Quicken a try. I’ve heard so many…
I’m a sucker for fried mozzerella but we don’t go out to eat often and I’ve never tried to fry anything at home. But when I learned about Farm Rich’s Cheese Sticks I was in love. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first, how good could frozen cheese sticks be? Well as…
When was the last time you played a card or board game with your family? Joe and I play about once a month, sometimes less. I wish it were more but honestly, I just don’t think about it sometimes. We’ve found that we love playing games together and can spend hours laughing and working out…
Before Jude was born I swore I would never us a pacifier. About one week later he was happily using a pacifier and I was thrilled to get little break from the constant nursing and crying. So this time around I am going to be prepared with an arsenal of pacifiers for Baby 2. I…
