We primarily use glass storage containers in our kitchen for a variety of reasons most of which are health based. With glass containers you don’t have to worry about BPA or other harmful chemicals seeping into your food.
I particularly love that glass containers don’t stain like plastic. You may have plastic food storage containers that are permanently stained red from tomato sauces or other tomato based foods. The acidity in the food soaks into the plastic and makes it impossible to clean. Now with the Rubbermaid Glass Storage container set I can store my left over pasta sauce and not worry about the container soaking up the acidity.
The Rubbermaid Glass with Easy Find Lids combines the same durability of all rubbermaid containers but with oven, dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe glass containers. The Easy Find Lids system helps keep cabinets organized by having the lids snap to the bottom of the container and to each other to make finding the right lid quick and easy. I like how there are a variety of depths/sizes that can utilize the same lid.
