Breastfeeding Noah has been a big challenge mostly in part to his tongue-tie issue. We are working very hard with him and are slowly seeing results as he learns to nurse. In the mean time I’m working on increasing my milk supply and teaching little Noah how to nurse. It’s not always easy but it is very rewarding.
I really like Milk Diapers products because they offer a variety of absorption for nursing pads. After Jude was born I had a big oversupply issue but this time my body seems to have regulated itself a little better so I don’t need a super absorbent pad.
I was able to review several of the different nursing pads offered by Milk Diapers. I particularly like the Moisture Guard because they give you extra protection to make sure you don’t have any leaks. I probably use the 4 layer pads most often because I’m just at home and can easily switch out the pads and they are very breathable. All of the Milk Diaper pads are very comfortable and sized to fit almost anyone.

I don’t think there is such a thing as having too many wet bags. For a long time we somehow survived with only one. But over time we have collected a few and I’ve learned what makes a good wet bag. 1. I prefer an easy to zip closed top. (drawstrings are unreliable and leave…
I love to swim. Growing up I swam competitively and loved it. As I’ve gotten older I still enjoy swimming for leisure and exercise. But over the past few years the exercise bit has dwindled. I have a membership to our local Y, which has an indoor pool but I’ve yet to utilize the facilities…
We’ve always read to Jude, mostly short board books. But recently I thought he might be interested in longer stories so I brought out some of my favorite Roald Dahl kid’s books. We started reading a few short chapters a night and he was instantaneously hooked. We started with George’s Marvelous Medicine and afterward I…

It’s 8 am and everyone is begging for breakfast but I have a baby with a stinky diaper. I run upstairs to change him only to find there are no more diapers in the box. I start to panic and then remember to check the diaper bag. Nothing. I run to the car and search…
One of my favorite bonding times with a new baby is bath time. When Jude was little Joe and I would gather around the sink to wash our tiny baby. We would sing to him, gently wash his delicate body and enjoy he’s cuddles afterward. Baby’s skin is soft and sensitive so you want to…
