Breastfeeding Noah has been a big challenge mostly in part to his tongue-tie issue. We are working very hard with him and are slowly seeing results as he learns to nurse. In the mean time I’m working on increasing my milk supply and teaching little Noah how to nurse. It’s not always easy but it is very rewarding.
I really like Milk Diapers products because they offer a variety of absorption for nursing pads. After Jude was born I had a big oversupply issue but this time my body seems to have regulated itself a little better so I don’t need a super absorbent pad.
I was able to review several of the different nursing pads offered by Milk Diapers. I particularly like the Moisture Guard because they give you extra protection to make sure you don’t have any leaks. I probably use the 4 layer pads most often because I’m just at home and can easily switch out the pads and they are very breathable. All of the Milk Diaper pads are very comfortable and sized to fit almost anyone.

I’m not very creative when it comes to styling my hair. It’s either down and straight or up in a regular old pony tail. The LillaRose Flexi clip is designed to hold up even the longest and thickest hair, while creating a beautiful look! I love how they offer a variety of sizes to fit…
We decided to spruce up the nursery for baby 3 (aka Simon!). Thanks to Fisher-Price and Sherwin-Williams and the Room to Bloom tool we added a few special touches to make the room special for our newest addition. One of the biggest changes we made was to the area over the dresser. We use the…
I love to give homemade goodies as gifts to my friends and family for Christmas. Not only is it a cost effective gift but they taste yummy too! Last year I made chocolate covered pretzels and peppermint bark. They both were a big hit! I did have a little trouble figuring out something creative yet…
Easter baskets filled with candy mean sugar-loaded kids bouncing off the walls, so let’s replace some of that candy with books. Billy Bunny and the Butterflies Billy Bunny and the Butterflies by Maurice Pledger is a beautifully illustrated flap book about a little bunny searching for butterflies. Noah really loves to help me identify all…
I’m sure most of you like myself have a new years resolution to improve upon your health. Of course I would love to lose a few pounds but my main goal is to establish a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family. As I get old it’s important for me to find my balance. I…
I am super proud to be Jude’s mom, even when he is throwing a huge tantrum in the middle of a crowded restaurant. (I’d like to hide under a rock but I’m still proud to be his mama.) I also really like handcrafted silver jewelry, like the kind that Emily from Magpie Designz creates. She…
