While I like one-sized diapers they tend to be way too big for a newborn baby. Baby 2 is due to arrive ANY. DAY. NOW. So we have all the diapers washed and ready for him. I tend to use prefolds and covers for newborn diapers just because newborns need to be change so frequently. However, it is nice to try a few different styles, especially those designed specifically for newborns.
The new Kissaluvs Newborn AIO is a super easy one-step system with a custom milled moisture wicking fleece inner and custom Leak-Free PUL outer. The umbilical snap down feature provides cord protection during initial weeks and the cleverly placed snaps allow it to fit from 5-15lbs.
I like that it’s a All-in-One Diaper so there is no need to stuff tiny inserts. I am also very impressed with the way the top adjust to make room for the umbilical cord, not something you need for very long but it’s a nice built in feature.
The Kissaluvs Newborn AIO is available in 4 Colors with contrasting inners and retails for $14.95.

I don’t eat at Arby’s a lot. Honestly, I don’t eat out a lot. But when I do eat out I like trying new things, especially a good turkey sandwich. Arby’s has a new line of Turkey Roasters, the newwest of which is the Grand Turkey Club. The Grand Turkey Club is made with sliced…
For the first 5 weeks of Noah’s life I pumped all of his milk. And any breastfeeding mom can tell you that pumping doesn’t yield as much milk as breastfeeding. So I pumped a lot and often just to keep up with his demands. But near week 5 I noticed my supply dropping. I knew…
When Jude was born we subscribed to the on-demand baby tending method and while we had a pretty content baby I could not for the life of me tell you how often he did anything. I don’t think I’m organized enough to keep everything written down in a notebook but I wish I had a…

I didn’t read a lot of the classic children’s books when I was growing up, so I missed reading, “A Wrinkle In Time” by Madeleine L’Engle. But I’ve heard a lot of good things about the story and it is on my “to-read with the kids” list. All that to say I had no expectations…
