We eat lunch at home every day and sometimes PB&J or Turkey Sandwiches get a little old so I’m always trying new recipes that are quick and easy. I love grilled cheese but it always seems a little less than impressive so I tried to jazz it up and hence created the ABCT sandwich.
What is an ABCT sandwich? Only the most awesome sandwich to ever grace the planet.
A – Avocado
B – Bacon
C – Cheddar Cheese
T – Tomato =
YUM!~
This is a great recipe to make with left over bacon, but let’s be honest when is there ever left over bacon? So go ahead and buy some extra bacon just so you can enjoy this yumminess.
Ingredients:
1 Avocado sliced
Cooked Bacon – 2 or 3 slices per sandwich
1 Slice of White Cheddar Cheese (or more if you like)
1 Tomato Sliced
2 Pieces of your favorite bread (mine is sourdough!)
Butter
Directions:
Cook the Bacon if you don’t have left over bacon. I cook mine in a pan until it is nice and crispy.
Butter each slice of bread
Layer ingredients – cheese, bacon, tomato and avocado, more cheese
Cook in toaster oven (on toast) until bread is browned and cheese if fully melted

When I was a kid one of my favorite after school snacks were Little Debbie Star Crunch. If you aren’t familiar with Star Crunch cookies you really need to try them ASAP, they are caramel and crispy rice coated with fudge. YUM! I don’t eat Little Debbie snacks every day after school but I love…

Slingshot Cold Brew Coffee and Nutella Smoothie by Joe A while ago our friend Jenny started a company called Slingshot Coffee, which makes smooth cold-brew coffee. This is my favorite smoothie recipe. I drink it several times a week and will occasionally mix up the ingredients by using different types of berries, nut butters or milk but it’s essentially the same basic recipe. My favorite way to make this recipe is with peanut butter, mixed berries of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries…
