Traveling with a toddler can be a challenge. Jude is an on-the-go little boy so sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with him or keep him from running off. He’s getting much better about staying with us but a few months ago it was stressful to take him anywhere for fear he’d get out of my reach. As a hugely pregnant women chasing after a 2 year old has become somewhat challenging so when we received the Cheeky Charlie By My Side Lead.
We also spend a good bit of time in the car and as Jude has gotten older he has trouble sleeping int he car so I’m thrilled to have the Keep Me Comfy Neck rest from Aurora so Jude can nap comfortably while we travel. It’s cute and comfortable.
Just in time for summer vacation the new line from Aurora, “Are We There Yet” make traveling with a small child a little bit easy. Developed particularly for boys and girls ages three to seven years old, Aurora’s “Are We There Yet” collection features Cheeky and his jungle buddies as plush, backpacks, neck rests and even “My Name Is” ID tags.

This summer we plan to do a lot of reading. Now that Jude can read to himself we’ve set up a designated reading time and are participating in our local library’s summer reading program. As an incentive to read more we have a chart on our fridge, when Jude fills up the chart the whole…
I’m a list maker. Grocery. To-Do. Packing. Meals. You name it and I’ll make a list. I like things organized and for most people the kitchen is a place for organization. Lists on the fridge, magnets with appointment reminders, etc… I’m no different. I go through list pads like water so I was thrilled to…
For the first 5 weeks of Noah’s life I pumped all of his milk. And any breastfeeding mom can tell you that pumping doesn’t yield as much milk as breastfeeding. So I pumped a lot and often just to keep up with his demands. But near week 5 I noticed my supply dropping. I knew…
Jude is what one might call a “spirited” child. He has no fear and never looks back. I admire him for his outgoing personality but it also scares me. I’ve had those brief moments when I can’t see him playing at the park or museum and my heart skips a beat. Now I can take…

AboutSmurfs – The Lost Village In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy…
I love to travel. I may be one of the few people that actually enjoy flying. When flying I typically try to avoid checking my bag or at least carry on essentials in case I get stuck without my bag. With all the new liquid restrictions this usually means I don’t take anything but…
