With Jude I practiced on-demand breastfeeding which meant that anytime and anywhere I could possibly need to breastfeed. While I’m very confident in my right to breastfeed and never encountered any confrontation about when and where I could breastfeed I still tried to be respectful of others. I used a nursing cover most of the time that was fairly easy to use but it still required hooking the strap which is just another step keeping a hungry crying baby waiting.
The Sophie Snuggler is great because it’s a poncho like cover that requires no buckling, straps or hooks. You just simply place it over your head and nurse away. I really love that it’s a simple design and doesn’t draw attention to the fact that you are breastfeeding. I also like how long it is because it keeps your midsection covered, which after having a baby isn’t something I want to show off.
I’m really looking forward to using the Sophie Snuggler while breastfeeding #2. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s a super cute design that could even be worn when you are not nursing.

Any true southern boy like my husband would gladly appreciate a delicious red velvet cake. Bake Me a Wish sent us their Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Chocolate Cake and it was delicious. I think what made this cake so amazing was the bits of white chocolate around the outer edge. YUM! I will admit I…
It’s that time of year, back to school. While my kids aren’t in school yet I see this time as an opportunity to reorganize my family’s day-to-day life. I consider myself pretty organized but there are always areas where I just can’t figure out how to get organized. For instance, my desk is almost always…
I hate handling raw chicken. I want to wash my hands as quickly as possible after I handle chicken. I don’t want to touch anything else in fear I might spread a nasty disease around my house. So I was super excited to test the SimpleHuman Sensor Soap Pump. At first I had a hard…
A few days after his 1st birthday Simon took his first steps. I was a week full of firsts and all very exciting. Being the third child means I have yet to get any pictures or videos of him walking, mostly because his brothers try to “help” him and he ends up falling down more…
On Saturday we had our family photos taken, specifically with Christmas Cards in mind. I love photo Christmas Cards. What I think makes a great photo Christmas Card is a picture that captures the life and personality of your family and a card design to match. I always look to Tiny Prints for not only…
