With Jude I practiced on-demand breastfeeding which meant that anytime and anywhere I could possibly need to breastfeed. While I’m very confident in my right to breastfeed and never encountered any confrontation about when and where I could breastfeed I still tried to be respectful of others. I used a nursing cover most of the time that was fairly easy to use but it still required hooking the strap which is just another step keeping a hungry crying baby waiting.
The Sophie Snuggler is great because it’s a poncho like cover that requires no buckling, straps or hooks. You just simply place it over your head and nurse away. I really love that it’s a simple design and doesn’t draw attention to the fact that you are breastfeeding. I also like how long it is because it keeps your midsection covered, which after having a baby isn’t something I want to show off.
I’m really looking forward to using the Sophie Snuggler while breastfeeding #2. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s a super cute design that could even be worn when you are not nursing.

I often have trouble buying gifts for my husband because he doesn’t want or need much, and whatever he needs, he usually buys for himself. But occasionally, I can find a few gifts that may not always be the biggest or most expensive, but I know he will love them. Looking for gift ideas for…
Over the weekend we had a Disney Side celebration with family. Jude, Noah and Simon along with their 8 cousins threw themselves one awesome Disney party. Part of the fun of throwing a party is the planning and preparation so we let the kids take complete control of the party and they loved every minute….
My boys can eat, and Noah is no exception. I’m seriously impressed with the amount of food this child can put away. He’s getting to the point where runny baby food just doesn’t cut it. So I’m trying to integrate more solid foods, but he only has 1 tooth so chewing is a bit of…
Every year the we look forward to Disney on Ice with our family. Last night we attended the opening night of Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. One of our favorite things to do is meet Joe for lunch during the week. When selecting a restaruant we want quality food and quality service so we often choose places like Moe’s Southwest Grill. Last week we had the opportunity to meet Joe for lunch at Moe’s where we were able to try out…

The generously sized blankets (46″ X 46″) include step-by-step swaddling instructions on the tag so every time you swaddle baby you have a little cheat sheet. We love Swaddle Design swaddling blankets specifically because they…
