I know a lot of people will be receiving a Nintendo Wii for Christmas and I always have trouble figuring out what best new games are out there. If your game enthusiast likes action and fighting games I highly suggest, Swords.
The ultimate sword fighting battle for the Wii™,Swords, will be available for retail in September. The game enablesplayers to travel through time and space to face-off against masters in battle. Using the Wii Remote, with Wii Motion Plus as a swift and agile weapon, players can experience the realism of 1:1 sword movement, real time blocking and advanced combos! This title is exciting for both boys and girls and approved by parents as the game does not feature the blood and gore found in other action titles.
Since Joe is the primary Wii player in or home here are his thoughts on the game…
Swords is an aptly named game about fighting with swords. The game doesn’t waste any time with a story, really, it just gets straight to the part where you fight with swords. You fight ninjas, a viking, a knight, some other guys, and a whole bunch of zombies. There is a little blood, but it’s not gory, and is probably suitable for the desensitized children of today. Definitely follow the recommendation to use the wii-motion plus (I couldn’t get past the tutorial without it), and take time to stretch before-hand. I had a really good time with this game, even though my arm was sore for a few days afterwards.

Jude has recently become obsessed with Superbook. I received 14 episodes on DVD to review and they have been a huge hit. As a child growing up in the 80’s I watched several of the original Superbook episodes and I love that they have re-imagined Superbook using 3D animation so that children of this media-savvy…
As of today I’m 31 weeks pregnant with baby 4. Even though this is my 4th pregnancy nothing about a pregnancy is boring. Each time I’ve been pregnant I am amazed at this creation of new life that is forming within my body and how the female body is designed to transform during this journey….
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to review some great product here at The B Keeps Us Honest. I’d like to take a little time to revisit a few of the reviews and giveaways I’ve done. We’ll talk to the giveaway winners to see if they love the product as much as I do and to…
Our family takes evening walks several nights a week. Sometimes we all walk and other times the boys ride bikes, scooters or in the wagon. Scooters are a preferred mode of transportation because they are super easy to use. The boys really love the Little Tikes Lean to Turn Scooter because it gives them…
We eat Macaroni and Cheese at least once a week for lunch. It’s quick and easy and just what I need to stay sane with 2 littles. I try to add a side dish of veggies to our meal but more often than not the veggies get pushed aside for a second helping of Mac…
Noah sleeps in the bed with us at night. The main reason he sleeps with us is because it makes nighttime feedings sooooo much easier. I can just roll over and nurse him without either of us fully waking up. But to nurse easily at night I need comfortable pajamas that allow me to nurse…
