Rubbermaid/Sharpie Review + Giveaway

I love to give homemade goodies as gifts to my friends and family for Christmas. Not only is it a cost effective gift but they taste yummy too! Last year I made chocolate covered pretzels and peppermint bark. They both were a big hit! I did have a little trouble figuring out something creative yet cost-effective to contain and gift the goodies. I wish I would have thought to decorate the containers I used.


This year Rubbermaid and Sharpie joined forces to help me create one-of-a-kind packaging for my homemade goodies. I had a lot of fun decorating my containers. I did find that the fine tip Sharpies didn’t dry as quickly and were more prone to smearing. However, the thicker tip markers dried pretty quickly. I thought it best to draw on the outside of the container because for one it was easier and two you don’t have to worry about food being contaminated by marker.
