Jude isn’t a super skinny kid but he also isn’t a chunk. He’s 2 years old and should rightly wear a size 2T. In fact, when he is wearing a cloth diaper his 2T pants fit pretty well. But if he’s wearing a disposable they just fall to the ground. We are about to start potty training and I can guarantee that his tiny underwear butt won’t keep his pants up.
I’ve considered buying him a belt but with potty training right around the corner any extra step in getting pants off is a big NO. Dapper Snappers offer the same benefit of a belt without the buckle. Dappers Snappers simply hook on the back belt loops of his pants and cinch them to a comfortable fit. Dapper Snappers come in a variety of colors so you can have one to match every pair of pants.

For several months now Noah has been refusing solid foods until last week. All of a sudden he has seen the light. Now he is devouring everything in sight. I honestly think what helped is they type of baby food I was feeding him. He was seriously unimpressed with the simple jar baby food but…
Breast is best. I think this is so true but I also know that breastfeeding can feel overwhelming especially when your baby is a newborn. It can feel like you are a non-stop baby feeding machine. Sometimes you need a little break from breastfeeding which is why I LOVE my breast pump. But sometimes pumping…
For years my husband and I have talked about getting term life insurance, especially since we are a single income family and it something were to happen to either of us it would be very difficult. However, we’ve yet to purchase supplemental life insurance. We have a simple life insurance policy through my husband’s employer…
When my oldest son was a baby we collected a few Uglydolls, despite their name they are actually very cute stuffed creatures that are fun and quirky. When I heard they were making a movie about Uglydolls I was pretty intrigued. Uglydolls is a sweet and fun movie that kids will find fun and heartwarming….
Summer is just around the corner which in North Carolina means it’s SUPER HOT! So we try to center our outdoor activities around water. We don’t have a neighborhood pool and only occasionally visit the city pool so I knew we need some sort of easy-to-care-for water toy. When I was given the opportunity to…
