DJ Lance is Gonna Make You Dance – Costume Supercenter Review
Since he was old enough to see the television screen Jude has been in love with Yo Gabba Gabba. To be honest I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Joe and I also really love the show. For his first Halloween costume we dressed in up in a homemade costume as Brobee and Joe dressed up in homemade costume as DJ Lance.
Now that Jude is a bit older I thought he would enjoy his own DJ Lance Costume. As soon as he saw the package he knew exactly what it was, Yo Gabba! He knew just what to do with the glasses and hat. For days he walked around the house wearing his glasses and hat. The glasses however, are adult size so they didn’t fit that well but he didn’t care. He played with them so much, in fact, he broke them. (They were only plastic and I think I can fix it.) Finally, we dressed him up in the whole costume and he was in love, with himself. He spent a good deal of time smiling and laughing at himself in the mirror.
Over all the quality of the costume is what I would expect, not something he would wear all the time but is built sturdy enough to withstand an active toddler. It should also be noted that the costume in the package differs slightly from the image on the package and on the website. Honestly, I like what is in the package better, it’s suited better for a toddler and actually looks to be a better quality than the image. Finally, the costume, with the except of the glasses, runs a little small so if you aren’t sure what size to get go one size bigger. Jude just turned 2 years old and it fits him perfectly.
